Starting at Apostolou Pavlou 53, we’ll pedal along the beautiful Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, heading to our first stop: Pnyka Hill. Here, we’ll take a short hike to enjoy fascinating historical insights and breathtaking views of the city.
From Pnyka, we ride downhill to the iconic Herodion Theatre for a quick photo stop before continuing to the Acropolis Museum, where we’ll admire its stunning exterior. Crossing Amalias Street, we arrive at Hadrian’s Arch, a masterpiece of Roman Athens.
Next, we head to the grand Zappeion Hall, where we’ll pause to uncover its fascinating history. During the off-season, our route includes a tranquil ride through the lush National Garden, leading to the Presidential Palace, where we’ll witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guards.
Our adventure continues with a visit to the historic Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games. From there, we cycle to the charming streets of Plaka and head to the Tower of the Winds in the Roman Agora, one of Athens' most intriguing landmarks.
Our next stop is the magnificent Metropolis of Athens, before wrapping up at the historic Ancient Greek Agora, where Athens' vibrant ancient marketplace comes to life.
