What is an electric bicycle?

An electric bicycle looks like a traditional bicycle, the only difference is that you feel like this extra boost when you needed. If you know how to ride a normal bicycle, you will have no problem riding an electric one. Climbing these hills without barely having to exert any power. In short, an effortless and utterly pleasant experience!

Who can use an electric bike?

Anyone who knows how to ride a bicycle and knows how to keep its balance. Your guide will explain you how to use the assistance and the gear box. A short testdrive and 4 rounds of pedals is enough to understand that it is very easy and intuitive.However there is a maximum weight allowance of 120 kilos/260 pounds.

Does the bike rides are safe?

Security is a very important point for us. Our groups are small and never exceed 12 people or we will appoint 2 tourguides. Although Greek law does not require it, we recommend wearing a helmet provided by us. Your guide will brief you all before leaving about the safety for a perfect stroll!

However, you must know that some parts of the ride are on the road open to traffic, and you will scrupulously follow the instructions of your guide for optimal safety.

Which languages do you speak on your tours?

Although our main language in our tours is English, we can also provide Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and English. Other languages are upon request. Unless your tour is private, our tours are not big. Although we do our best to have one language per group. It might happen that our tour guide will do two languages in the same group. If this is the case you will not miss any information. Of course there is always the option of a private tour.

How many people are on one of your tours?

All our tours (except private events on request, or private groups) are small and if over 10 people there will be tour guides to ensure safety and higher quality time with the guide

Do you comment on your tours?

We do a bike ride and pass from all the sights as described in the Our Tours section. We will stop and give time to see and take pictures. Some brief comments on what you see but no in-depth history. Of course if you are interested in more in-depth history we can always arrange for a licensed guide as greek law requires in archeological sites and for  in-depth history. 

And if it rains?

Although it does not often rain in Athens,  if it does rain we operate normally and we will provide you with a poncho if needed. If however there are heavy thunderstorms and rain and we feel the tour cannot be done we can reschedule, if your itinerary does not permit to reschedule we will give you a refund. In all other cases full charges will apply.

Are children allowed?

Children from the age of 10 (minimum height 1.50 m) are allowed to ride their own e-bike, provided accompanied by an adult. For smaller children 4-9 we have booster seats and /or co-pilots that can be hooked behind te bike of the adult,  baby seats on the rear are available for 0-4 years old.

What is your cancellation policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund any portion of anybody's payment if they miss the tour without any notice whatsoever to us beforehand.

When desired, we can almost always switch dates free of charge with as little as almost no notice (last minute), however, we make no promises to this extent. The sooner a change of reservation is requested, the more likely it is that we can accommodate the request. One day is often sufficient. Two days is better. With 3 or more days' notice, we can usually offer you an alternative tour, free of charge.

Our tours operate normally even if it rains (except in heavy thunderstorm). We can provide raincoats to keep you dry. However if it rains 2 hours prior to your scheduled tour and you don’t want to do the tour please call us +306944510 515 and we can reschedule.

As for refunds for reservations being canceled, our policy is as follows:

0% with less than 48 hours prior to departure time
50% for notice given btw. 2 days and 7 days prior to departure date
75% for notice given btw. 7 days and 14 days prior to departure date
100% for cancellations made 14 days or more prior to departure date

Can I use your E-Bike without being on the tour?

We do not rent out our e-bikes for the time being

When do we have to pay? Do you accept credit cards?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Amex on our website, full payment must be done at the order,  please contact us if you do not have any of these cards so we can make other arrangements.

Do I need to collect my bike before the tour?

No, you do not need to collect your bike before the tour. Our offices are right in the center close to Thissio ​station. Our guide will brief you and let you take a test drive and of we go!

What does the price include?

Price includes: An elegant and easy to ride Electric Bike, a safety helmet a bottle of water, and about 3 hours of fun.

Where is the meeting point?

The meeting point is right at our office at Thissio station 53 Apostolou Pavlou, Athens.

If you wish we can also arrange a pick up from your hotel or any other place you will be stationed at an extra cost. if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Is the meeting point far from the port of Piraeus?

If your cruise arrives at Piraeus at 8:30 am, you will have plenty of time to arrive at 9:30 am at our offices.

If your cruise arrives at 10 am, you have the possibility to take a private tour with us according to your time plan.
