Salamina e-bike tour plus lunch and beach time.

Salamina is the closest island to Athens and the perfect destination to leave the city behind you and to enjoy the island's beautiful nature, beaches, restaurants, rich culture, history and cycling and hiking routes! 

The surprisingly well maintained and quiet roads and trails make it a perfect place to explore the island on the bicycle or hiking, finishing the activity at one of the many delicious seaside restaurants and a refreshing dive in the sea. Salamina is often overseen by the big crowd making a visit here a relaxed, unique and authentic experience. Plus it's just around the corner from Athens!

Join our friends of Explore Salamina and enjoy a private and a unique experience with a local expert who will join you on the boat to the island and who explore the island on the electric bike, so you don't have to worry about getting lost and simply enjoy the island life away from the busy city.

 

The activities will be private with a maximum of 4 participants and include a delicious lunch at a seaside restaurant and the chance to take a refreshing and well deserved dip in the Saronic sea. 

 

 

 

Program:

• 08:40 meet your local expert at the Piraeus port 

• 09:00 - 09:30 boat transfer to Salamina

• 09:45 - 13:00 34 km bike ride through the rural area and via quiet coastal roads plus many photo moments and a visit to the famous Faneromeni monastery.

• 13:00 - 14:00 Lunch at one of the many great seaside restaurants

• 14:00 - 15:30 Beach and swim time

• 16:00 - 16:30: 30 minute ferry back to Pireaus to Piraeus

This itinerary is based on years of cycling experience on the island, but can be adjusted to your needs and wishes.
